Our visit to St Peter's
We were treated to end of Eid celebrations at St Peter's. The children taught our school about the tradition of Eid and how it is celebrated. Some of the children had fasted during Eid for the first time and discussed their experiences. We were treated to typical foods that are eaten after fasting has ended and learned a Bollywood Dance routine. Our children had a fantastic experience!
Our WW2 day - St. Peter's visit
As part of our commitment to providing the children of Holy Trinity with diverse and inclusive experiences, we have made links with another school to share learning experiences. We invited the Year 6 class of St. Peter's to our WW2 open day and had a range of activities planned. The children enjoyed making new friends and sharing what they have learned about during our history topic. We will be visiting St. Peter's after Christmas to learn about their Eid celebrations.
Protected Characteristics
At Holy Trinity CE Primary School we believe that it is important that all children gain an understanding of the world they are growing up in, and learn how to live alongside, and show respect for, a diverse range of people.
In so doing we promote equality and pupils’ understanding of the protected characteristics.
